The Network is intentionally growing as a community committed to diversity. When you attend the Extravaganza or engage in one of the ministries offered by our Network, we hope you will experience a broad spectrum of leaders from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Multicultural Initiative - MCI - is a pre-conference leadership gathering for leaders of color leading children, youth and family ministry in congregations. This community is created to support leaders in this important work of the church. The Multicultural Initiative is an effort to strengthen our grassroots network by increasing our diversity. New for 2027 - MCI is being led by the ELCA Churchwide Ministries of Diverse Cultures & Community Directors. Contact your Ethnic Ministry Director for more information. |
